Come to the Awards Dinner and be a part of World Records attempts,
the presentation of the Museum Awards and other honorary awards
given to individuals who have contributed significantly to the
yo-yo community.
At 7pm, following the conclusion of the National Yo-Yo Contest
the Awards Dinner will take place at Manzanita Hall. Driving maps
will be available at the contest.
We strongly encourage everyone to make reservations in advance
for the Awards Dinner by purchasing
tickets online through Bird in Hand or by calling

In addition to World Record attempts, the following Museum
Awards are presented:
The Donald F. Duncan Family Award for Industry
Excellence is awarded
to an individual for quality innovation, production, or promotion
that advances the quality of the sport
The National Achievement Award is bestowed upon
the person who's effort successfully improves the sport, and positively
influences the industry.
The Sitton Sportsmanship Award is bestowed upon
the person who exemplifies the best in sportsmanship and aids others
to learn these qualities.
The National League Merit Award is given to the
individual who best serves and supports the league as a contest
promoter or facilitator.
The Holiday Inn Best Junior Player Award is presented
to the highest scoring player aged 12 or younger in this years
National Contest.
The Best Girl Player Award is given to the highest placing female
player at this years National Contest.
The Trick Innovator of the Year Award is named
by past winners of the award and given to the player who has been
an important creative developer of influential new yo-yo tricks.
The Most Inspirational Player Award is conferred
on an individual selected by the judges who is an inspiration to
other players as this years National Contest.
The Extreme Spin National Cup Award is given
to the player who has scored the highest in combined finishes in
the Open division of this years Regional Contest. 2005 is the premier
year for this award.
The ticket price for the Awards Dinner is $20. Your paid attendance
at the Awards Dinner allows contest registration to be free. $14
of the dinner ticket purchase price is tax deductible.
If you purchase
tickets online, your credit card will be billed
through Bird in Hand, but all of the proceeds go to the National
Yo-Yo Contest.
Please note that refunds cannot be issued for dinner tickets so
please coordinate with friends, family, or team members when purchasing
tickets.
